Photos from 1907 - 1940 Wilson and Pearl Trading Post 1907 Located on Rocky Shoreline east of the Sand Beach named after Tom Pearl. Note the cast iron stoves, which weighted over 200 lbs each. They were portaged by canoe up the Larder River from Wendigo Lake. A townsite was surveyed at Pearl Beach but never opened. (This is a slide show - 14 photos and will take a few moments to load.) |
